I have been quietly grumbling about spending my spring break in the "sunny" and "warm" city of Ann Arbor, while I continually look through photos of my fellow classmates spending break amidst green, shady palms. But as it turns out, my sarcastic complaints have come full circle and each day spent here has been even more beautiful then the previous one. I used the rest of my Starbuck's gift card this morning on a venti iced coffee and the barista kindly pointed out that my day must be a happy one by the large smile spread across my face. I realized that my ideal vacation is right here in the Great Lakes state and all it took was a simple reminder from a stranger.

I am so fortunate to have such a lovely place to spend a few days, and am even more blessed to spend it with my best friend. I have even more to look forward to tomorrow once I arrive back safely in Ohio's capital. Massages with my lil' bro in the Short North and a relaxing Thursday afternoon with my mom, as we enjoy the royal treatment and lunch at our favorite restaurant,
Tucci's, will ice what is the most fabulous cake of a spring break I could have ever hoped for.
