Today I signed the lease for the apartment I will be living in for an entire year, with three girls I don't know, on the corner of Lane Avenue and High Street. This fall I will be living a completely different life, one that involves thousands of new people, places, and things to discover, cherish, and fear. And with a little help and support from my friends and family, I think I will make these next three years at Ohio State the best years of my life. I made a list of goals I wanted to accomplish this summer and now that the end of summer has finally arrived, I still feel unprepared to say goodbye to the warm sun, the long days at work, and the quality time with my family. A lot has changed this summer and with this new transition, I fear the idea of further changes taking place in my chaotic life. I've learned over the past two years that change isn't always a bad thing, and that with an open mind, any negative situation can be turned around into a positive one. As I always used to say, "positive thinking leads to positive results!" And now my new motto, "spread sunshine!" Your happiness will almost always rub off on the people around you and there is nothing better then having the opportunity to see another person smile. Something that has brought me continual happiness is my new iphone that I received for my birthday :) I am currently obsessed with instagram and the amazing camera the iphone is equipped with. Here are a few moments captured with my new love (my iphone):
So many memories can be restored through one single photo and so my goal for this next year: to take as many photos as possible and to never forget a single moment spent with the people I love.
